David Daly continues his long career in multimedia production, communications, marketing and project management as the Director of Development and Communications for the Friends, where his focus is on corporate fundraising, campaign creation, membership management and communications. He is no stranger to the area, having been born and raised in New Bern, returning to the Crystal Coast in 2015 via career stops in Charlotte and Chapel Hill.

Speaking of Chapel Hill, David has a long history with his alma mater, UNC-CH. He was team manager for the Tar Heels basketball team, cutting down the national championship nets his senior year, produced Coach Dean Smith’s television show as well as several documentaries about the program, and was the director of Blue Heaven, The Carolina Basketball Museum.
