Ann and John have enjoyed boat life in Beaufort for 20 years and love sharing their lifestyle with others. Hopefully we will see dolphin playing and the wild ponies of Rachel Carson Nature Preserve as well as osprey, herons, egrets, ibis and other local or migrating birds. Feel the seabreeze , smell the salty air and have a good time aboard our beautiful yacht!

Crystal Coast Sanctuary is a hidden gem for gatherings big and small!

Situated at the end of a quiet road beneath the shade of majestic

live oaks, this former church has been reimagined as a coastal

retreat. It is just minutes from the charm of Beaufort's Historic District.

Nestled on three acres of maritime forest, this spacious property is

perfect for weekend getaways, family reunions, work retreats

(workshops and team building), or celebrations of any kind (including

weddings!). Engaged couples looking for a rustic venue may want to consider having their special day here!

The property features two distinct spaces: the Fellowship

Hall/Bunkhouse, which serves as the primary rental, and the Sanctuary which is an optional add-on for even more room to gather.

We’ve preserved the character and history of this unique property

while adding our personal touches to make it a truly one-of-a-kind

experience.

The open floor plan offers plenty of space for cooking, entertaining,

or relaxing. There are four comfortable bedrooms with beds for 14 people! The bunkhouse features a fully equipped kitchen with all

of the gear and gadgets you'll need to make a feast.

For an additional fee, you can access the attached 1,400 sq.

ft. sanctuary building, a stunning multi-purpose space featuring

comfortable seating, four sofa beds, two dining/game tables, a stage,

and an 85" smart TV with Sonos.

Step outside to enjoy our hidden oasis in the serene maritime forest.

Imagine reading your favorite book in a rocking chair on our spacious

covered back porch with sprawling views, kayaking Town Creek, cozying up by the large fire pit, playing horseshoes or swinging under ancient live oak trees. We have several idyllic seating areas along 400 ft. of tidal creek. This is also the site of the old Menhaden Railroad bed, once used by the Fishmeal Company, and runs along the back of our property. Our property is a quick 15 minute walk (or 10 minute bike ride) to the historic district.

Here at the Crystal Coast Sanctuary, every moment is a chapter in your

adventure book, the sunsets are a painter's dream, and every gathering is a tale to be told. This isn't just another rental; it's where your group's story begins, transformed by the magic of this unique venue.
