Mr. Dewey Tran, Mr.
Dewey Tran is a seasoned executive with deep expertise in media, technology, and investment banking. As the co-founder of One Media Connect, he brings a wealth of experience from both the corporate world and small business ownership, allowing him to bridge the gap between Fortune 500 strategies and the needs of small and medium-sized businesses in the Crystal Coast and beyond.

Dewey began his career at Bandwidth.com as its first employee, where he played a crucial role in scaling the company into a major telecommunications provider. His contributions helped lay the foundation for Bandwidth.com’s success, ultimately leading to its IPO. After his time at Bandwidth, he transitioned into investment banking, working at Bank of America and Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo), where he specialized in media and telecommunications. During this time, he advised Fortune 500 companies on financial strategy, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions, further deepening his expertise in corporate finance and high-growth industries.

Following his tenure in investment banking, Dewey joined MaxPoint Interactive as a senior executive, where he helped drive the company’s growth in digital marketing technology. His leadership contributed to MaxPoint’s expansion and successful IPO, solidifying his reputation as a strategic growth leader in the media and advertising technology space.

Today, Dewey applies his extensive corporate experience and entrepreneurial spirit to One Media Connect, a company dedicated to bringing cutting-edge media, marketing, and technology solutions to businesses in Carteret County and beyond. Something you’ll often hear me say is I love where I live!  I moved to the Crystal Coast in 2015, searching for a change of scenery and some tranquility. To this day I am still in awe of this very special place! Something about this coast is captivating.  The ocean breeze and the smell of the saltwater that accompanies it, walking around and visiting all the cute and quaint little shops, the community events like the fishing tournaments, Alive at 5, etc. I could go on and on (add any other description you like) but the very best part are the people. We are all exceptionally warm-hearted! You truly feel at home here and as one with the community.

Giving back to the community in which I live is one of many things that I strongly believe in; it’s very fulfilling work being able to help others. I’ve spent my career investing in people - helping individuals and families. With over 20 years as a Mortgage Lender and Realtor, I have been involved in all aspects of buying, selling, and financing real estate. I have the experience, tools and unique skills needed to assist you! Adding my passion for high quality service and desire to make this process painless, you’ll realize you are the top priority throughout!  I guarantee to communicate, be honest, and work hard for you every step of the way. To me, you are not just another number or another “transaction” when working with me, you are now my friend, and a new member of our community.

As a member of the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce, I’ve participated in numerous community activities and volunteer opportunities. Growing up in an active military family, I have a passion for helping military service members and veterans. As a member of the Military Affairs Committee, I have the honor of working with the military community through events we hold for service members and their families as well as our quarterly Service Person of the Quarter luncheons we hold for to recognize the local branches for their work in our community.

Community does not have to be right next door!  My customers become family as they return to me for refinances or new purchases.  I follow them as they get married and watch their children grow and move into each new chapter.  No matter where you live now or where you’re moving, let me be there with you!  Let me help you unlock the feeling of home!
