It is my pleasure to serve as the Assistant Director of The Tiller School of Carteret County. This will be my fourteenth year in educational leadership and my 29th year in education. Prior to joining Tiller, I was a Principal, Assistant Principal and teacher with the Carteret County School system. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Chowan College and a Masters of School Administration from East Carolina University with certification in Curriculum and Instruction. I will always be a teacher at heart and always remember the important work being done in classrooms.
I am blessed to be married to a wonderful Carteret County man, Bill for 35 years and mom to our son William. My goal is to help provide a supportive culture where students and staff grow and are provided the skills to reach their highest potential. In my free time I prefer to be on a boat enjoying all the water has to offer!
