ART CAMP
DRIP–DRAW–COLOR–PAINT-CREATE
9:00 AM-1:00 PM REPEATS 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
(OR YOUR CHILD MAY STAY the ENTIRE DAY with DIFFERENT INSTRUCTION in the AM & PM! Supervised lunch break!)
A weeklong series of experiences designed to enrich the elements of art and principles of design while inspiring new explorations for self-expression. Projects may take an interdisciplinary approach to inspire turning STEM into STEAM!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
NOTE – This class repeats. Two separate classes will be offered during a morning and an afternoon setting. Contact ACCC if you wish your child to attend both (Your child can attend for the full day and will receive different instruction in the morning and the afternoon. Full supervision during the lunch break!)
- Different art mediums will be explored choosing where, when, why and how to use what!
- Classes may build on each other.
- Students work independently and participate interactively to share their ideas.
- Each 4-hour morning will have multiple breaks of approximately 10 minutes each.
- Students’ daily work is retained as reference for additional work.
- Students will create a portfolio to bring home at the end of the week-long series.
- Class work will be exhibited 15 minutes before pick-up time on the last day.
- Students should dress to work with a variety of art mediums and to get their hands wet.
WHAT YOUR CHILD SHOULD BRING:
Ensure your child has non-peanut snacks & drinks daily.
Please inform your child that snacks are not to be shared. Thank you.
Fee: $225 Materials are included
Class limited to 10.
Early Registration fee by April 15: $200 not to be combined with 2nd child discount
10% discount for 2nd sibling after April 15
