For over 100 years the Beaufort Woman’s Club has played a key role in shaping the community fabric of Beaufort. The present-day club traces its roots to January 21, 1921, just a few months after American women were granted the right to vote. Our club has served decade after decade as a strong force in making Beaufort one of the best small towns in America.
As the President of the Beaufort Woman's Club, I am proud to share our mission to make a positive difference in the community by supporting preservation, revitalization, education, and the economically disadvantaged. The Beaufort Woman's Club is open to all without discrimination, encouraging relationships, fellowship, growth, leadership, and a commitment to the community.
The Beaufort Woman’s Club is an outstanding non-profit organization to join if you are interested in meeting new friends and making a positive difference in the community. Through a variety of fund-raising events, the time and talent of our members support Carteret County charities that assist area youth, education, and preservation efforts.
The Beaufort Woman's Group invites you to join us. We'd love for you to attend a meeting to see for yourself what this dedicated and fun group of women is doing to support our community. Contact our Membership Chairperson, Susan McCall at sus_don@hotmail.com.
We meet the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Epicopal Church, 215 Ann St., Beaufort, NC 28516.
