After two years of our awareness campaign and meetings and fundraising, Cape Lookout's Beach, the Drain and S-Curve has been dredged and Cape Lookout now has a one hundred yard plus beach! The sand is beautiful, and now you all will have a place to sit, lay and enjoy this summer, and many years to come. Our next project will be working with the Park Service to create a way to keep it there. This is in the works, but no final decision has been made. Since we do not have a venue for Save Cape Lookout Foundation Inc. 501(c)(3) we are at the mercy of our local businesses to help with the fundraising. Thank you all for your help!!
