Planck Length Publishing is a very small press dedicated to cultivating the speculative
arts in Carteret County. Founded in 2025 by Autumn Ware and Jack Ware, the
press builds on the foundation of EPIC Carteret, the NC Arts
Council-funded podcast that showcases the people and places that make the
Crystal Coast extraordinary.
Our work spans fiction and non-fiction, with a focus on fantasy and science-fiction, mystery and New Weird Literature, folklore, philosophy, and cultural exploration. Planck Length publishes anthologies, novels, literary journals, and experimental works that blur the lines between reality and imagination. In addition to print publications, we produce immersive storytelling experiences through live artistic events such as Winter Hauntings, an annual celebration of ghost stories, and podcasts
like far°off.shore, a limited-run docudrama about a vanished Outer Banks
island.
